The Johara Dance Ensemble can embellish your next event or venue with the magic and mystery of belly dance! The Johara Dane Ensemble is an experienced professional Middle Eastern Dance troupe with matching, lavish costuming, and numerous styles of dance and music!

About the Show
Shows can be tailored to your specific needs. Shows are always family friendly and are for all ages and occasions! A typical show is usually 25-45 minutes long. Depending on your venue, time, number of dancers, and structure can be altered. The Johara Dance Ensemble will provide music so a cd player is expected.

Specific props (veil, tray, sword, candle, fire eating, etc) can be requested as well. Please inquire! The guest of honor may be asked to belly dance! The idea is to get everyone dancing by the end of the show!

Pricing is dependant on venue location (anything outside the general DFW area is extra), show length, amount of shows, and amount of dancers. Please contact The The Johara Dance Ensemble for booking availability and pricing.

The Johara Dance Ensemble can be booked for:
· School Multicultural Events – The Johara Dnace Ensemble has performed at many local school multicultural events using thier shows to educate students about the folk dances of the Middle East! Its a great learning expereince! Special packages available, please inquire!
· Private Parties ,i.e. birthday parties etc (no Bachelor Parties please unless in a restaurant or nightclub)
· Concerts
· Parades
· Festivals – indoor or outdoor festivals
· Conventions – great addition to Women's, fitness, dance, and other conventions.
· Weddings – Belly Dancers are part of Middle Eastern Wedding tradition.

The dancer will often lead the bride and groom into the reception using a zeffa or procession. Although a procession is not required, but often requested, a belly dancer will open the reception and get the party started!

· Bridal Showers – perfect for brides to be!! Brides and shower attendees will learn how to do snake arms, draw “8s” with your hips, and make a turban from a veil!! Ideal Bridal shower entertainment with a special belly dance gift for the bride from The Johara Dance Ensemble! The dancers will bring ample hip scarves for everyone to use during the lesson.
· Corporate Events – i.e Christmas and New Years Parties or other general events.
· Gallery or Grand Opening
· Nightclubs and Restaurants – The Johara Dance Ensemble is able to dance in various restaurants and nightclubs. Please contact The Johara Dance Ensemble if you would like to inquire about adding belly dance to your venue!
· Women's Clubs – A fantastic way to change things up! The Johara Dance Ensemble has done educational shows for various women's clubs and organizations!
· Girl parties or Goddess parties – Having a girl’s night out, candle party or Tupperware party, anything involving the girls?! Well why not add in a quick, fun belly dance lesson! The troupe will provide hip scarves, music, and excitement for the lesson! What a great way to break the ice and get the night started!
· Benefits – The Johara Dance Ensemble has donated shows to help Tsunami victims, The Foundation for Pluralism, Hurricane Katrina, and the American Heart Association!
