Anjuli

Anjuli began belly dancing in January, 2001, with Miabella at Crescent Moon Belly Dance Studio. She has studied with international stars Raqia Hassan, Dina and Mahmoud Reda.  She has danced at Mayfest, Kismet, State Fair of Texas, recitals, haflas and several competitions and won the Golden Goddess Award in 2003.

She has attended countless workshops to further her dance education   with  Hadia, Amaya, Bahaia, Rivkah, Katia, Jasmin Jahal, Ansuya, Urban Gypsy,  just to name a few.  One of her favorite classes was Exotic Dance with  Louisa.

After previously dancing with Nadirah Johara for two years, she decided  to branch out and take classes from her starting in January 2,005 and  eventually tried out and joined the Johara Dance Ensemble in February,  2007.  The troupe consists of ten extraordinary and diverse women that  come together as one.  She says that Nadirah has taken them on an  exciting, challenging and amazing journey.

By day Anjuli/Julie Voigt is the third generation owner of Monticello  Spring Water Co. in Ft. Worth. She is married and has a daughter and son.  She loves to travel, swim, enjoys the wonderful world class museums 3  blocks from her home and rides with her husband on his Harley.   Life   is  Good...
